The active ingredients in this product sound like something Q would put in a pen and give to James Bond before he embarked on a mission.

Milbemycin oxime interrupts nerve transmission in invertebrates – which helps to prevent heartworm, roundworm, hookworm and whipworm, while praziquantel causes paralysis and eventual disintegration of tapeworms.

Administered monthly, Interceptor provides long-lasting protection against heartworm and gastrointestinal worms that commonly afflict dogs. Note that you must test your dog before administering Interceptor, as infected animals have been known to experience a shock-like reaction when taking this medicine.
